Flashback to former Speaker Howell and the Big Spending 7:
Let's introduce all the game players: Delegate Dave Albo, Delegate Rob Bell, Delegate Kirk Cox, Delegate Tim Hugo, Delegate Chris Jones, and Delegate Jackson Miller. Let's not forget the show's host is Speaker Bill Howell.
We are shedding light on Virginia's ballooning state budgets and spending increases that present a problem for the Commonwealth. In fact, we can't tell the difference between republicans and democrats when it comes to spending.
Speaker Bill Howell and his fellow game players are out of control. Too many in the house just follow along with Speaker Howell and his Big Spending 7 in their push to increase the size of Virginia's budgets.
Virginia's budgets and spending have been on the increase for too many years, passing the largest tax increases in Virginia's history, adding fees with unconstitutional transportation packages that sought to give un-elected, "regional transportation authorities," the ability to increase taxes on the citizens of Virginia.
Luckily, in 2008, in a unanimous decision by the Virginia State Supreme Court, the Virginia General Assembly, the Big Spending 7,and their unconstitutional transportation package (HB3202) were held in check.
Here are a couple of facts:
From 2006 to 2016 the state budget has grown over $20 billion.
From 2002 through 2015 Virginia's General Fund spending increased by over 51.82%.
Let's put Virginia First and tell them to STOP this crazy spending.
Tell Speaker Howell and his game players it's, "GAME OVER!"
