New Foundation to Change the Future of Virginia

Today, the Virginia First Foundation, Inc. launched its banner with the opening of its website and first actions to change the culture and face of Virginia.

The Virginia Foundation is dedicated to changing Virginia’s destiny. It will help shape Virginia as the home of limited Constitutional government supported by a strong Judeo-Christian, Conservative culture. It will adapt to a constantly changing Commonwealth with a 20 year vision of actions. It will work to start a Revolutionary Season of 12 to 20 years to change the culture and government from the community to the highest levels of government in Virginia. “Virginia will once again, lead the way forward for America,” says Jim Bowden, the groups acting President.

The Virginia Foundation is an action driven institution built to last. It will advance the best principles of the past and present into a better future for Virginia. It will work with existing groups to share information and fill in gaps. It will not do politics as usual, but work to change the culture of Virginia, with a grassroots army.

The Virginia First Foundation will hit the ground running – already sending out candidate surveys on key issues to candidates in key June primaries – with plans for issue advocacy and education to the public on such issues – and release the results of the surveys from the candidates through a sustained mail and social media campaign.

The Foundation was Founded by James Bowden, graduate of the United States Military Academy, retired U.S. Army Infantry Officer, former 1st Congressional District Chairman of the GOP and serves as the Chairman of the Virginia First Foundation; Cynthia Dunbar, formerly elected to the Texas State Board of Education and Assistant Professor of Law and Advisor to the Provost of Liberty University; Chris Shores and Steve Waters, both political strategist and grassroots consultants.

Virginia First Foundation, Inc. is a Non-Profit 501(c)(4) incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
